The changeling continue in on the base from the east, but it is soon apparent that other groups are also closing in. Changeling crop up on the west, south, and north, all making a straight run for the base. No chatter is heard from either group, save the hurried clatter of hooves on dirt.
“they’re trying to surround us, and the scanners are picking up allot of changelings in the area, easily over a thousand”
Well let’s give them a fight they won’t forget, activate the kinetic barriers and bring every turret online. Activate the minefields so they will be forced into choke points and any changeling foolish enough to fly will be blasted out of the sky.
“alright, turrets are online and troops are waiting for orders”
The sandstorm begins to close in on the base, a ways ahead of the changeling, making visuals nearly impossible. The sound of explosions fill the air as changeling begin to be hit by the frontmost mines- luring most into the choke-points as stated. Most begin to slow down before being blasted, and are kept on the ground from turret’s fire.
The shield that is deployed is quickly taken out by a spell from an unknown direction. Attempts to reinstate the shield fail within seconds.
“shields are down and we can’t get it back up, something is stopping us”
Get the artillery online and fire into the changeling ranks, and what is the statis on the bombers?
“their already away and releasing payloads onto the changelings, changeling air cover is giving them trouble but the air coverage the bombers have is holding them”
Have all main battle tanks ready to fire on the changelings when they get to the middle of the minefields, I want a rapid barrage on them. Let’s see how well they handle the trenches.
